Have you ever watched a smoker? I have. Duh. And I have noticed something curious: Smokers will cup the flame as they're lighting their cigarette, even when they are indoors and there is no wind to be found. Why? WHY do we do this??

Was anyone else in a high state of piss-off at the ending of Kingdom Hospital? After waiting around 4 months for the final episodes, I feel completely ripped off. Also, it makes me regret the letter I sent to the television station for preempting the show last week. It wasn't at ALL nice. Wanna share in my humiliation? Of course ya do! Here's my note (hey...don't hate the messenger...)

Are you KIDDING me?? Preempting Stephen King's 'Kingdom Hospital' finale, which was delayed for several months already for a show on AFRICA??? The pre-scheduled Kingdom Hospital is now pushed back till 2:05a.m.?? Why not put your precious Monica "Black is All that Matters" Kauffman and her show on at 2:05 a.m.? I am seriously offended and highly disappointed in your station. And I will be giving my time and viewership from this point forward to another station.

Yeah. I'm ALL about diversity and making friends with the media, yo.

Piece O' Advice: Don't ever, and I mean EVER, get into an argument regarding proper grammar and spelling with an ignorant person. People with a lack of intellect will most assuredly resort to the most vicious personal attack you have ever imagined and you will, despite your best efforts, be crushed by it for a little while. It's not fun. Especially when they refuse to accept that grammar does NOT have an 'e' in it. You'll just have to take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are soooo much better than they are and move on. Heh.
